ARRADON, town with 5000 inhabitants during winter, enjoys a geographical privileged position in south Brittany,
set in a cove in Morbihan Bay, and very rightly called "Pearl or Riviera of the Bay"
It doesn't usurp these suggestive terms and hangs on numerous trump cards to its 15km of coastal fringe,
in particular its place amongst the most beautiful bays in the world.

In the past rural, today it's a residential and touristic area, which has kept from its origins:
- a religious inheritance (little chapels)
- a rural habitat with traditional character in stone, tide mills, longeres, bourgeois
residences from the beginning of the last century.
- a natural sumptuous setting knowing how to combine modernism : pleasure port, nautical centre, and
tradition with the existence of oyster construction sites and farms.

|
- numerous pedestrian paths have been made during recent years enabling the discovery
of a panorama of islands during strolls (as many as the number of days in a year, according to the legend…) |
|
Besides, it is possible to rent for half a day, motorboats (without a licence)
to discover the golf by yourself.
However, many boats cross the golf, stopping over at the main islands (Ile aux moines and Ile d'Arz)
Arradon is part of the community of the urban area of Vannes village, and is 7km away from the prefecture town.
Fortified town a must to discover.
